American Planning Association – Florida Chapter

Congratulations to Alexis Crespo, AICP, Vice President of Planning with Waldrop Engineering, on being named the 2018 Roland Eastwood Planner of the Year. The distinction is awarded by the Promised Lands Section of American Planning Association (APA) Florida Chapter to a local planner for their outstanding service to the planning profession. With over 13 years of professional planning experience in Southwest Florida, Alexis has directed both private and public-sector planning efforts for a variety of Clientele, including City of Bonita Springs and Babcock Ranch. She has been actively involved on the local APA board for over a decade serving in a variety of capacities including Section Chair. Alexis is a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. As an active member of the community, she serves as the President of the Florida Planning & Zoning Association, Vice President of the Real Estate Investment Society, and Programming Chair for the ULI Southwest Florida District Council.
